Israel has been added to a United Nations blacklist on conflict-related sexual violence, according to reports by Reuters and Agence France-Presse on Friday, 29 May. The blacklist is part of the UN Secretary-General’s annual report to the Security Council on conflict-related sexual violence, which tracks state and non-state actors accused of committing or facilitating systematic sexual violence during armed conflicts. The decision was reportedly included in the UN Secretary-General’s annual report on conflict-related sexual violence, which documents allegations involving parties accused of systematic sexual violence in armed conflicts.
